• Burn-in of a package that requires unconventional socket configuration
• Extreme burn-in application such as high temperature or humidity
• Request for Multi – DUT socket
• Extend life of contacts through adjustable pressure lid
• Socket requested to serve multi-use function
• Customized burn-in features required to be built into socket
